  • WTO - World Trade Organization administrated TRIPS Agreement (Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights) Annex 1C of the Marrakesh Agreement about Establishing the World Trade Organization, signed in Marrakesh, Morocco on 15 April 1994, Article 10: '1. Computer programs, whether in source or object code, shall be protected as literary works under the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works'.
  • WIPO - World Intellectual Property Organization administrated Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works of September 9, 1886 (as amended on September 28, 1979), Article 1 Establishment of a Union: 'The countries to which this Convention applies constitute a Union for the protection of the rights of authors in their literary and artistic works'; Article 3 Criteria of Eligibility for Protection: '(1) The protection of this Convention shall apply to: (a) authors who are nationals of one of the countries of the Union, for their works, whether published or not; (b) authors who are not nationals of one of the countries of the Union, for their works first published in one of those countries, or simultaneously in a country outside the Union and in a country of the Union'.
  • Germany (country of registration) - Act of Federal Republic of Germany on Act on Copyright and Related Rights (Copyright Act, as amended up to Act of September 1, 2017), membership of Germany in Berne Convention is verified by WIPO Notification # 22 declared on June 19, 1970 
  • UAE (country of creation) - United Arab Emirates Federal Law No. (7) of the Year 2002 Concerning Copyrights and Neighboring Rights, membership of UAE in Berne Convention is verified by WIPO Notification # 266 declared on July 11, 2014
  • USA - Digital Millennium Copyright Act of United States of America (Public Law 105–304 of 105th Congress , 17 USC 101 Note) enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled at October 28, 1998, membership of USA in Berne Convention is verified by WIPO Notification # 121 declared on November 17, 1988
